Taking the Fear Out of Phobias

Phobias can be life limiting for the sufferer, but they can also be a source of fear for the therapist. 

 

Dealing with irrational fears or phobias can be one of the most rewarding aspects of our work as hypnotherapists. It can also be one of our most amazing sources of referrals and recommendations, when things go well.​

​

Having said that, many therapists are daunted when faced with combatting by long rehearsed and well ingrained behaviours.

​

There truly is no need to be fearful of treating phobias and in this CPD workshop, we look at why that is the case.

​

This workshop looks at

• How the brain creates phobias

• The different types of phobic learning

• How stress and trauma play a major part in phobia development

• The appropriate use of solution focused hypnotherapy techniques in sessions

• Each session and its contents in detail

• My own "direct indirect" approach to the subconscious​

 

As part of the course you will receive a fully detailed booklet and numerous language patterns (scripts) to help you develop your own personal delivery of the sessions.

You will of course receive an attendance certificate as proof of the CPD hours earned.
